TullAssistans trains personnel in customs, INTRASTAT and VAT issues. Continual changes in legislation mean that companies dealing with international trade must have access to continually updated competence.Given the increased internationalisation of trade, questions and problems arise all the time that require training services of different kinds.TullAssistans give training courses on both general and specific issues.

For more information on current courses, see the TullAssistans course programme.

General courses include, for example, import courses both for newly-launched companies and for established companies that want to develop their customs know-how. Other examples include courses on international terms of delivery (INCOTERMS 2000), EC-VAT and clearance procedures with financial effects.

Specialised courses are often commissioned by a single client for a specific purpose. TullAssistans has, for example, supplied the Swedish Customs Authorities with the first version of the ”Harmonizer” – a CD-ROM-based, interactive training programme in the classification of goods according to the Harmonized System. The Harmonizer is continually updated and can be ordered from the Swedish Customs Authorities. The program is now global standard and has been adopted by the WCO (World Customs Organization) as a training module.

Another specialised customs training programme was developed by us during the creation of a new customs broker group in Bollnäs, commissioned by the County Labour Board in i Gävleborg. The course was given to be able to supply UPS Sweden AB (United Parcel Service) with staff with the required competence profile as a prerequisite for the establishment of a new UPS Brokerage Department in Bollnäs.
